  • Joni Chun, Executive Director

    Joni has served as the Executive Director of the Susannah Wesley Community Center since 2018, bringing over 25 years of nonprofit experience rooted in service, integrity, and a strong sense of purpose. She is committed to keeping the Center responsive to the real needs of the Kalihi community, creating a space where people of all ages feel welcome, supported, and valued. Her leadership is informed by both experience and faith, with a steady focus on strengthening programs and relationships that make a lasting impact. Outside of work, Joni enjoys long walks with her husband, visiting her sons in Seattle, cooking for family, staff, and youth, and unwinding with a good book or podcast.

  • Koreen Garcia, Director of Community, Youth & Family Services

    Koreen is a dynamic member of the SWCC leadership team, serving as Program Director of Community, Youth & Family Services. With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and a strong background in program leadership, she brings both expertise and heart to her work with individuals and families—spanning keiki to kūpuna. Known for her high energy and creative spirit, Koreen connects easily with people of all ages. In her free time, she enjoys building with Legos, organizing and decorating spaces, hunting for shopping deals, and spending quality time with her family.

  • Toni Higdon, MBA, Grants Administrative Officer

    Toni is a member of the SWCC leadership team, serving as Administrative Officer with a focus on grants and data management, performance and quality improvement, and human resources. With over 20 years of leadership experience in nonprofit operations, she brings deep expertise in compliance, strategic planning, and building strong teams. Toni is an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan who enjoys baking, crafting, and relaxing at the beach.

  • Victoria Roland, Statewide Program Administrator (TVAP)

    Victoria is a dedicated member of SWCC’s leadership team, serving as the Statewide Program Administrator for the Trafficking Victim Assistance Program. With extensive experience in victim advocacy, crisis response, and trauma-informed care, Victoria leads with empathy and a deep commitment to empowering survivors. Her work spans across Hawaii, supporting a network of service providers and ensuring compassionate, coordinated care for individuals impacted by trafficking. Outside of work, Victoria finds joy in volunteering at animal sanctuaries, practicing yoga, and being a voice for the voiceless.

  • Lisa Jay, Executive Assistant

    Lisa is a valued member of the leadership team, serving as Executive Assistant and overseeing operations logistics at the Center. With over three decades of experience in hospitality and administrative management, she excels at keeping things running smoothly through her attention to detail, organization, and people-centered approach. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, crafting, and teaching high-energy pound fitness classes.
